Racing Suit:
Your driver's suit / karting suit is one of the most important parts of a karting outfit:
The main task of the kart overall is to protect you in case of an accident, Sparco Kerb is safety rated and approved by CIK FIA according to Level 2 which is the highest safety rating for karting suits.
Sparco Kerb go-kart suit is made in several layers of which the outer layer is made of Cordura, an highly durable nylon fabric that is often used for motorcycle gear and similar demanding garments.
This Sparco Kerb karting suit for go-karting is not only safe and protective, but a lot of focus was also put on creating a comfortable and flexible suit that does not chafe or resist when you move around in your seat. The arms are 'floating' and are attached with large stretch panels around the entire area where the arm meets the shoulder, this makes it much easier to move the arms / control the kart.
At the lower back you have strech panels that provide increased mobility and make it easier to jump in and out of the kart.
At the waist are Velcro straps that tighten the Sparco overalls around you and provide a perfect fit. Two simple pockets allow you to take your cell phone and wallet with you when you go karting.

How should a karting suit fit?
The overalls should fit snugly, but you still want some loose fabric so that you don't lose mobility in your arms and legs. If you use a rib protector when driving a kart (which we highly recommend), remember to try on your new suit with your rib protector as well. The rib protector can be on the outside of the overalls, but the most common way is to wear the protector closest to your body under your go-kart overalls.
Gloves:
Gokart gloves Sparco Record Karting are a pair of comfortable karting gloves, available in colors that match your Sparco karting suit and allow you to keep the style on the karting track.
The gloves have a thin polyester fabric on the top, the fabric is very flexible and gives you good ventilation. On the palm, the gloves have a thin suede fabric with silicone coating that gives you good contact with the steering wheel.

Most other models have the seams on the inside, this makes the gloves easier to manufacture, but is not optimal from a comfort point of view.
Record go-kart gloves from Sparco instead have external seams, when you close your hands around the wheel, the 'folds' around the seams end up on the outside of the fingers instead of the inside. This means that you do not risk any discomfort or poor blood flow to the fingertips.
The inside of the glove is almost completely covered by different silicone sections that provide maximum grip around the steering wheel, while the silicone is durable and protects the suede fabric from chafing from the steering wheel.
The fingers are pre-curved which makes it easier to hold the steering wheel and reduces the risk of cramping in the forearms. Between the thumb and index finger there is an extra section that protects against chafing and absorbs some of the vibrations that would otherwise propagate to the hand and reduce your blood flow.
Shoes:
Sparco K-Run shoes for karting are a pair of uncompromising racing shoes with full focus on maximum ventilation and mobility. Suitable for all types of karting including rental karts.
The upper part of the shoe from Sparco is made of so-called 3D-Mesh with maximum ventilation via an open grid pattern covered with perforated fabric. The material on the bottom is easy to clean with a damp cloth and the screen-printed logos are very durable.
There's a large cutout at the shoe's entry point that gives you increased ankle mobility for the best possible pedal control on the go-kart. The stretch-surfaces at the upper lacing of the karting shoe also contribute to this increased mobility and make it easier use the shoe.
A go-karting shoe should fit the foot like a glove, which is why Sparco K-Run has, in addition to its lacing, a strong Velcro closure made of artificial leather.
An extra pair of laces in a matching accent color is included with each pair - choose your style!
The thin sole of the Sparco shoe gives you a good contact with the pedals of the go-kart, while the sole goes up far back on the heel in a softly rounded shape. Together with additional heel reinforcements in artificial leather, this gives you a very stable yet comfortable racing shoe.
Balaclava:
Balaclava in one size from Sparco for Karting. The balaclava is always good to have under the helmet, it keeps your helmet fresh and it is easy to wash unlike the helmet. The balaclava also provides extra protection against wind and increases comfort.
