ZeroNoise Intercom for the rally car or racing car

ZeroNoise Intercom system / communication system for rally racing or other motorsport & vehicles.
If you are looking for an interference-free intercom for your car, we can warmly recommend ZeroNoise, a stable and reliable system.
An intercom system in a rally car is a must - when driving at high speeds, the reliability of your communication system is the highest priority. A rally intercom allows you to communicate with your map reader. It's a nice addition to track driving in general because it allows you to talk to a fellow rider/coach in an easy way.

An intercom system consists of three parts:
Main Unit (Intercom Amplifier)
Communication unit 1 (Driver's intercom helmet / headphones)
Communication unit 2 (Co-rider's intercom helmet / headphones)

The intercom amplifier is connected via cables to your helmet or handset.
Most systems use one of these three connections to connect you and your head unit.
Connectors:
• Nexus
• 6.3mm
• 3.5mm

Nexus connector

For professional racing or rallying, only Nexus contacts apply. Nexus connectors provide a reliable connection and are used as the military standard for communication connectors.
There are some adapters for different brands of helmets and headphones have different outputs, eg female and male. The most common is that the helmet or headphones have a male on their connection cable and then the interom unit has a female that you connect to the helmet. But there are helmets that have the opposite, such as Stilo etc. Which has females as a contact on the helmet. Then there is an adapter cable that switches from female to male and from male to female.
6.3 mm connectors

You can usually find that contact on somewhat simpler intercom equipment.
A 6.3 mm connector is also called a microphone connector used on PA equipment and stages.

We have adapters that allow you to connect a 6.3 mm to a Nexus connector and vice versa so that it is possible to mix, but it is preferable to only have one standard in the car to avoid interference. But sometimes you might have a guest map reader or something that has other connectors and then it's good to have an adapter from Nexus to 6.3 in the toolbox or in the car.

3.5 mm connector
Ordinary headphone plug found in telephones etc. Those connectors are used, among other things, for small headsets such as in-ear headphones etc. Here, too, there are good opportunities from ZeroNoise with the adapters and adapter cable that allow you to mix it with Nexus connectors. Then you can, for example, have a professional intercom for rally or racing and then connect nice little in-ear headphones under the helmet.

ZeroNoise also has wireless communication developed for Karting called Pit-link that allows you to communicate with the driver in the kart. Then ZeroNoise uses a mobile phone to communicate with drivers making it easy to get started.

We have a large range of different headphones that you can mount in your racing helmet:

In-ear
Covers with intercom
"Headphone plates" that you retrofit into the helmet.

Communication equipment with all connections and standards can be complex, if you need help deciding what you need, you are more than welcome to contact us for a personal consultation!
