The Sparco Electric 014779EXP FIA 8865 2.5 L fire extinguishing system is a pressurised, electrically activated fire suppression system developed for modern competition cars with an enclosed driver compartment.

This Sparco fire extinguishing system is FIA-homologated to 8865-2015 (Technical List 52) and approved for use in rally and standard cars. The system is fitted with an ultralight stainless steel cylinder and electric activation for fast and effective fire suppression.

The 2.5-litre tank contains 3.3 kg of FK-5-1-2 extinguishing agent, which effectively smothers the fire without damaging electronics. The system is supplied complete with one nozzle for the cabin and one for the engine bay and is suited to cabin volumes of approximately 1.35 m³ to 2.3 m³.
