Helmet Arai CK-6 CMR
Arai Helmet Size CK-6
Helmet sizing
Measure carefully around the head above the ears. Compare the measurement in centimetres with the size chart. Do not guess the size; the helmet must fit closely and securely.
How to measure your head for an Arai helmet.
1. Use a soft measuring tape.
2. Place the tape around the head about 2.5 cm above the eyebrows, just above the ears and around the widest part at the back of the head. Keep it close, but not tight.
3. Compare the measurement with the size chart.
If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size for a close fit. Contact us if you need help.

Product description
The Arai CK-6 is hand-made in Japan and is one of the very finest helmets on the market!
The Arai CK-6 karting helmet for children and juniors was one of the first models in the world to be certified to the CIK-FIA CMH CMR standard.
In the past, children typically wore smaller-sized adult helmets, but unfortunately these were too heavy and weren't adapted to children's head geometry either.
A new standard was developed by CIK-FIA, stipulating a maximum weight of 1250g and requiring that the helmet's shell and neck opening be adapted for children and young people.
The Arai CK-6 meets the latest requirements (Snell-FIA CMR-2016) and is therefore adapted and approved for all types of international karting.
All Arai helmets are made from fibre composite. Unlike plastic helmets, composite helmets don't bounce on impact — instead the helmet deforms and absorbs the forces.
Arai's composite material for the CK-6 is called SRC and has been specially developed for good safety combined with low weight.
The interior lining is made from a very comfortable material and is removable for washing — you can also swap the thickness of the lining to get a perfect fit.
The helmet has 4 ventilation openings that provide cooling on hot days. The two openings above the mouth area are always open, but the head ventilation can easily be opened and closed.
The visor mechanism is inspired by car racing helmets, and the visor is easy to open, adjust or swap for a different tint.
The chin strap is fastened with a DD buckle, which is the safest option and gives a perfect adjustment every time.
A good tip is to add Arai's Spoiler kit — a wing that improves the helmet's aerodynamics.
Supplied with a soft storage bag.
