Helmet Arai SK-6

The Arai SK-6 is one of the few premium helmets on the market developed and optimised specifically for karting!

The SK-6 karting helmet is largely based on Arai's flagship GP-6S model, but the SK-6 has been given an unusually wide field of vision, better suited to the tight corners of a karting track.

Arai is constantly developing its safety features, and the SK-6 has, among other things, an inner shell with varying firmness for different parts of the head, along with an extremely strong outer shell made from fibre composite material.
-Composite helmets deform on impact instead of bouncing, which makes them significantly safer than plastic helmets.
The SK-6 is of course approved for all types of international karting (FIA-Snell K 2020 Approved).

The visor mechanism is very easy to operate even while wearing gloves, and there's also a function to open the visor a few millimetres, which prevents fogging in the morning and evening.

The helmet has 4 ventilation openings that provide cooling on hot days. The two openings above the mouth area are always open, but the head ventilation can easily be opened and closed.

The interior lining is made from a very comfortable material and is removable for washing — you can also swap the thickness of the lining to get a perfect fit.

The chin strap is fastened with a DD buckle, which is the safest option and gives a perfect adjustment every time.

A good tip is to add Arai's Spoiler kit — a wing that improves the helmet's aerodynamics.
