Something to consider when choosing a racing suit: make sure you have the right safety rating — you want a suit approved according to CIK-FIA. That way you know the suit protects you properly; a CIK-FIA rating is also a requirement to train and compete in organised go-kart racing. This Thunder suit has the highest rating (CIK-FIA Level 2)

Fit: The suit should fit closely, but you still want a bit of loose fabric so that you do not lose mobility in the arms and legs. If you use rib protection when karting (which we strongly recommend), remember to try your new suit together with your rib protector. The rib protector can be worn over the suit, but the most common approach is to have the protector closest to the body, under your karting suit.
