The shell shape has been updated for even better comfort and safety together with different types of neck restraints.

The Arai GP-6S is an incredibly safe helmet and naturally meets all the strict requirements placed on a racing helmet. In fact, the GP-6S is approved for use in everything except F1.
The helmet has a fireproof, comfortable and washable interior lining in Nomex and Kevlar.
You can also swap the thickness of parts of the lining to achieve a perfect fit.

The Arai GP-6S meets the FIA 8859-2015 and Snell SA2020 safety ratings

The visor mechanism is very easy to operate even while wearing gloves, and the mechanism has also been designed for minimal aerodynamic resistance for those of you driving formula cars.

The shell is made from Arai's patented CLC fibre composite and has extra reinforcement at the lower edge to withstand the strain from your HANS restraint.

To use the GP-6S together with a HANS / hybrid restraint, you purchase HANS anchors that are easily fitted with one screw each. No modifications are required — the helmet has threads already prepared.

The helmet has 4 large ventilation openings that keep the head cool. The two openings above the mouth area are always open, but the head ventilation can easily be opened and closed.

The chin strap is fastened with a DD buckle, which is the safest option and gives a perfect adjustment every time.
