Balaclava

The Sparco RW-4 Balaclava is an advanced, fire-resistant balaclava made from a soft Soft-touch interlock material that combines comfort and safety at the highest level. The construction is simplified and optimised to give a light, flexible feel, while the thin seams minimise pressure points under the helmet.

The balaclava is fitted with a single eye opening and consists of two layers of Nomex for maximum protection against heat and flames. Thanks to printed labels, you avoid irritating tags that can chafe while driving. The RW-4 is FIA 8856-2018 homologated.

The Sparco RW-4 top is a high-quality base-layer top made from a soft Soft-touch interlock material that combines comfort with advanced flame protection. The simplified, optimised construction gives a flexible feel and a regular fit that suits all types of drivers under competition conditions.

The material blend consists of 60% modacrylic and 40% cellulose, which contributes to effective heat insulation and good breathability. The top is FIA 8856-2018 and SFI 3.3 approved, thus meeting modern motorsport safety requirements.

Pants

The Sparco RW-4 pants are made from a soft, flexible Soft-touch interlock material that provides very high comfort while offering effective flame protection. The pants have a simplified, optimised structure with flat seams to minimise chafing and provide a smooth feel while driving.

The regular-fit design gives a natural fit and good freedom of movement, making them ideal as a base layer for competition driving. The material blend consists of 60% modacrylic and 40% cellulose, which contributes to both heat regulation and breathability. The pants are homologated to the latest FIA 8856-2018 standard.

Socks

The Sparco RW-4 socks are made from 100% meta-aramid in a soft, flexible 2-layer Nomex material that provides the highest comfort combined with first-class fire and heat protection. The ribbed shaft together with the sole and instep in jersey gives a stable, comfortable fit during long driving sessions. Reinforced heel and toe add extra durability under intensive use.

These socks are FIA 8856-2018 approved and specially developed for racing drivers who demand maximum safety without compromising on feel or freedom of movement. The RW-4 is a mid-height model and comes in sizes 38-46.
