Visor Arai GP-7 A/F Pink Smoke
Product description
There are many different tints/colors to choose from - the right visor in the right conditions has a big impact on how well you see!
Also keep in mind that visors wear out over time, small scratches that add up to poorer vision. We recommend that you change your visor every one to two years.
Which tints you prefer is largely a personal preference, below is a brief indication of the different properties of each tint.
*Red
Arai's red visor is a darker visor in the base that has been coated with a red/oil colored surface.
Red helps you distinguish colors and improves visual acuity.
They are suitable for medium to bright days. A good choice on sunnier days and also works in lower light conditions.
*Blue
Blue visors are basically dark visors with a blue surface.
They have a light transmission slightly lower than the red-tinted and mirrored visors and are suitable for sunny days
*Green
Green visors are basically dark visors with a green surface. The green tint gives you better depth perception and reduces eye fatigue on sunny days.
Recommended for sun and variable cloudiness.
*Silver
Silver-tinted visors have a light transmission midway between dark and smoke colors.
Thanks to the reflective mirror surface, mirror visors are better at preventing you from being blinded by sun cats etc.
Silver visors have a distinctive silver surface when viewed from the outside, but are perceived by the driver as a pair of medium-dark sunglasses.
Colors are dulled with this visor but contrasts appear just fine.
*Transparent
Transparent or uncolored visors are recommended for low light conditions during dawn and dusk or very rainy days.
This visor is standard and you should have one for each helmet.
*Dark
Dark visor is equivalent to a pair of really dark sunglasses.
This is suitable for days with bright sun and blue skies.
Dark visors have a greatly reduced light transmission and remove some of the colors, therefore it should not be used on 'half-sunny' days.
For this, a smoke-colored visor is recommended instead.
*Smoke-colored
Smoke-colored visors reduce light by about 50%, they are very good for days with alternating sun or sun of weaker strength.
A smoke-colored visor is quite forgiving in low light and works in many circumstances.
Smoke-colored should be one of your standard visors.
