Garmin Catalyst R1

The Garmin Catalyst R1 is a high-performance radar system designed for competitive drivers and motorsport enthusiasts who want greater awareness of vehicles approaching from behind. Featuring advanced sensor technology, the system delivers impressive coverage, range and precision, helping drivers detect approaching vehicles and traffic in their blind spots on the racetrack.

High-performance racing radar

The radar system detects vehicles approaching from behind and provides visual alerts to improve driver awareness. This makes it easier to monitor surrounding traffic and make more informed decisions while driving on the track.

Visual alerts within the driver's field of view

The integrated indicator lights are positioned within the driver's field of view, providing clear visual signals of vehicles behind the car. This allows drivers to keep their eyes focused on the track ahead while improving awareness of approaching traffic.

Compact and rugged construction

The compact design allows the radar unit to be discreetly mounted at the rear of a race vehicle. Its rugged IP67-rated construction provides protection against dust and water and is designed to withstand demanding racetrack conditions, including heat and vibration.

Convenient installation

The Garmin Catalyst R1 features a discreet installation and can be connected to switch on and off with the vehicle's ignition. Professional installation is recommended for optimal results. The included mounting accessories offer several options for adapting the installation to your vehicle.
