The D5 tire is CIK/FIA homologated, and is the standard tire in the Rotax Max Challenge, in the Rotax Max Senior and Rotax Max DD2 classes, worldwide.

A soft and also durable tire that provides good grip on dry surfaces.

For optimal grip, tire pressure should be adjusted according to the nature of the track, the driver's riding style and air temperature. A high tire pressure can be beneficial in slightly colder weather or if you experience little grip on the track, but keep in mind that there are options to adjust settings in the chassis that allow you to get more or less grip depending on what you are looking for.

The perfect tire pressure is difficult to achieve but if you succeed, you can gain a few tenths.
