The Sparco Stealth CMR is an ultra-light karting helmet developed for young drivers who demand the highest levels of safety, comfort and performance. The helmet is approved to the new FIA 8878-2024 standard and meets the requirements for international karting at the highest level.

The fibreglass-reinforced shell with a carbon-fibre liner provides an optimal balance between low weight and a high level of protection, reducing the strain on the neck and shoulders while driving. The advanced ventilation system with integrated air channels helps keep the driver cool even during long and intense sessions.

Rib Protector

Rib Protector Sparco PRO-Carbon FIA 8870

FIA-approved rib protector for karting. Homologated to FIA 8870-2018 for competing in international races.

The FIA-approved rib protector from Sparco is made of carbon fibre with a vibration-dampening foam on the inside featuring ventilation channels that carry away heat and sweat.

The buckle on the front is very thin so it fits underneath the race suit. Elastic shoulder straps keep the FIA-approved rib protector in place.

The outer shell is made from a flexible mix of carbon fibre and kevlar.

Customise the look

It comes with various self-adhesive decals that let you customise the look of your FIA-approved karting rib protector. Red and fluorescent yellow are included.

Neck Brace

Neck Brace Sparco K-Ring

Sparco K-Ring neck brace intended for all types of karting and motorsport

The neck brace is made of a hard foam that provides stable protection while still being comfortable to use.

The kart protector has a protective fabric cover that can be removed for washing.

At the front edge of the neck brace there is a split/opening held together by magnets and velcro; this is where you open the protector to slide it on and off over the neck.

At the back, towards the back and shoulders, there is a section that extends down and rests against the back, which means the neck brace sits perfectly against the body and doesn't shift around while driving.

A neck brace protects against injury by raising the driver's shoulders, since the protector builds up towards the helmet by a few centimetres, meaning the head can move less before it is stopped by the neck brace.

This helps prevent neck injuries of all kinds; in particular, there is a lower risk of compression injuries from forces coming straight from above, but it also protects against overstretching of the neck from lateral forces.

A neck brace can feel awkward to wear at first, but most people get used to it quickly and see it as a natural part of the equipment. It is a cheap form of insurance and should be used by all drivers regardless of age and experience level.

The protector comes in one size and fits most drivers from junior to adult. For the very youngest drivers (under 10 years old) we recommend one of the other models available in child sizes.
