If your coverall is a flame resistant Nomex coverall from Sparco, Sparco recommends that you dry clean it to preserve the flame retardant properties and maintain the luster of the fabric that makes it look good. Your Sparco overalls should be treated in the same way as your Sunday suit.
Between races, make sure you take off your overalls and hang them to dry properly. Also, be careful not to get oil and stains on it.
If you wash it at home in the washing machine, it should be washed inside out on the delicate wash program in cold water. Use a laundry bag so that the overalls are not ruined by the washing machine. Attach the Velcro straps so that they do not damage the delicate Nomex fabric. Hang it up to dry.

A karting suit needs to be washed more often than a racing suit, so it's important to follow these washing instructions to keep your suit looking good for longer.
One tip is to treat the overalls with Nikwax, which is a type of impregnation that protects the overalls effectively against both dirt and moisture.
We recommend that you dry clean your overalls for best results. However, you can also wash it at home in a normal washing machine.
Wash the overalls inside out, making sure that zippers and Velcro are closed so that they don't ruin the overalls as they move around. Wash it in a delicate wash in cold water (up to 30 degrees). To remove stains, you can treat the stains with Vanish or similar directly on the stain.
Hang it inside out to dry on a hanger.
