HANS IV 20° – lighter, more comfortable and designed to fit more drivers

The HANS IV is a new and improved FHR (Frontal Head Restraint) device from HANS Device, designed for racing drivers looking for lightweight, comfortable and effective head and neck protection. Compared with the previous HANS III, the HANS IV is approximately 10% lighter and is now available in three sizes to provide a better fit for more drivers.

The custom-molded pads are designed to sit securely within the device without slipping. The upgraded foam provides a good balance of comfort and support, even during longer driving sessions. The high collar features a cut-away designed to reduce contact with the driver's neck during a rear impact.

The HANS IV also features improved harness retention, helping to keep the shoulder belts securely positioned during driving. The 20-degree version is well suited to standard seating positions and is an excellent choice for entry-level drivers across a wide range of racing series.
