To achieve optimal grip, tyre pressure should be adjusted based on the track's character, the driver's driving style and the air temperature. A high tyre pressure can be advantageous in slightly colder weather, or if you're experiencing low grip on the track, but remember that there are ways to adjust chassis settings to get more or less grip depending on what you're after.

The perfect tyre pressure is hard to nail, but if you manage it you can gain a few tenths.
