For optimal grip, tire pressure should be adjusted based on the character of the track, the driver's style, and air temperature. A higher tire pressure can be advantageous in colder weather, or if you're experiencing low grip on the track — but keep in mind there are also chassis adjustments that can give you more or less grip depending on what you're after.

The perfect tire pressure is hard to nail, but if you manage it, you can gain a few tenths.
