Seat Sparco QRT-R SKY Vinyl fabric

Made using innovative, weight-saving technology, the Sparco QRT-R is a modern seat specifically developed for cars with a tight cockpit. Through advanced 3D CAD design, Sparco has managed to create a seat that takes up significantly less space in both height and width compared to other racing seats. This makes the Sparco QRT-R especially suitable for cars such as Porsche, Mazda, Alfa and similar, where it's often difficult to find space alongside the transmission tunnel, or where the helmet hits the roof or the roll cage. Sparco QRT-R is homologated to FIA 8855-1999 and FIA 8862-2009. The seat is designed for 4/5/6-point harnesses and is mounted using seat brackets with a CC of 290 mm (sold separately). It is upholstered in vinyl that mimics genuine leather.

Sparco QRT stands for Quick Resin Technology and was invented and patented by Sparco themselves. In short, QRT is about how the fibres in the fibreglass shell are manufactured, along with the method used to combine the shell with the liquid polyester resin that gives the seat its rigidity. QRT provides significantly better control over the resin, resulting in: Low weight – weight is reduced by an average of 45%, or about 4 kg A more even distribution of resin in the shell, giving a stronger seat that is also less bulky
