*Gold

The gold mirror coating reflects sunlight and significantly reduces glare, making riding more comfortable in bright conditions. The gold tint can increase contrast and improve track visibility in strong sunlight. Iridium-coated visors (such as gold) often work well as all-round visors in changing light conditions, as they reduce brightness without making the view too dark.

*Blue

Blue visors are essentially dark visors with a blue surface. They allow slightly less light than red-tinted and mirrored visors and are well suited for sunny days.

*Rainbow

Rainbow visors are basically dark visors with a green/purple surface. The green tone can improve depth perception and reduce eye strain during sunny conditions. Recommended for sun and variable cloud cover.

*Silver / Iridium

Silver tinted visors have a light transmission level between dark and smoke visors. Thanks to the reflective mirror surface, mirrored visors are better at preventing glare from sunlight and reflections.

Silver visors appear strongly mirrored from the outside, but to the rider they feel similar to wearing medium-dark sunglasses. Colors become slightly muted, but contrasts remain clear.

*Clear

Clear or transparent visors are recommended for low-light conditions such as dawn, dusk or very rainy days. This visor is the standard type and it is recommended to have one for every helmet.

*Dark

A dark visor can be compared to a pair of very dark sunglasses. It is suitable for days with strong sunshine and clear blue skies. Dark visors significantly reduce the amount of incoming light and mute some colors, therefore they should not be used on partly sunny days. For those conditions, a smoke visor is recommended instead.

*Smoke

Smoke visors reduce incoming light by approximately 50% and are very suitable for days with variable sunlight or weaker sunshine.

A smoke visor is quite forgiving in poorer lighting conditions and works well in many situations. A smoke visor should be one of your standard visors.
