A Redesigned Cylinder for Raket 95 Launches in 2024
Due to the global situation, we and our suppliers are working to move as much production as possible back to Sweden to ensure future deliveries.
As part of this effort, we are proud to present a redesigned cylinder for Raket 95 – now entirely manufactured in Sweden using the latest technology.
The cylinders are now die-cast – in short, molten aluminum is injected into a CNC-milled mold at an extremely high pressure (up to 1,000 bar!).
This technique results in a dense casting and very high precision with tolerances below 1/100 of a millimeter.
The subsequent heat treatment process has also been upgraded and now takes place in a robot-fed oven that can handle 1,200 cylinders at the same time, all to ensure the greatest possible uniformity between the cylinders.
The new cylinder is fully comparable to the previous one and offers performance equivalent to the earlier version.
Settings for ignition / carburetor are unaffected, and you can easily switch cylinders and continue riding with your previous setup.
All accessories (piston, gaskets, intake, etc.) are unchanged and compatible with both versions.
Overall, this represents a significant modernization of the manufacturing process, ensuring that we can deliver Swedish-made products with the best possible precision for a long time to come.
The cylinder launches in spring 2024, and to facilitate the transition, we are offering it at a subsidized price.
If you need help replacing your cylinder, we will perform this service completely free of charge in our Workshop when purchasing a new cylinder.
