Washing instructions for your racing suit

If your suit is a Sparco flame retardant Nomex coverall, Sparco recommends that you dry clean it to preserve the flame retardant properties and keep the luster of the fabric that makes it look good. Your Sparco coverall should be treated in the same way as your Sunday best.

Between races, make sure you take off the suit and hang it up to dry properly. Also be careful not to get oil and stains on it.

If you wash it at home in the washing machine, it should be washed inside out on the delicates programme in cold water. Use a laundry bag so that the suit is not ruined by the washing machine. Put the Velcro straps together so that they do not destroy the delicate Nomex fabric. Hang it up to dry.

Washing instructions for Sparco Karting suit

A karting overall needs to be washed more often than a racing suit, so it is important to follow these washing instructions to keep your suitlooking good for longer.

One tip is to treat the suit with Nikwax, a type of impregnation that protects the overall effectively against both dirt and moisture.

We recommend that you dry clean your overalls for best results. But you can also wash it at home in a regular washing machine.

Wash the overall inside out, making sure the zips and Velcro are closed so they don't ruin the suit as it moves around. Wash in cold water (up to 30 degrees). To remove stains, you can treat the stains with Vanish or similar directly on the stain.

Hang it inside out to dry on a hanger.

Take care of your equipment and it will stay fresh longer.
