The Arai GP-7 SRC ABP Carbon helmet is the absolute pinnacle of Arai technology, meeting the strictest safety standards FIA 8860-2018 ABP (Advanced Ballistic Protection).
This standard became a requirement within Formula 1 from 2019.
Made entirely from hand-laid ultralight and incredibly strong carbon fiber, the helmet's shell is designed to complement the FHR unit. SRC (Super Racing Carbon) technology is different from regular carbon, as it can flex without cracking. This flexibility in the outer layer is transferred to the multi-density inner shell that dissipates impact energy and provides unparalleled protection for the wearer.

The ventilation system on this helmet has been improved, with 5 air intakes (2 on the chin and 3 adjustable) and 2 outlets on the top of the helmet. These ventilation holes have been enlarged by 25% to provide maximum comfort and a clear field of vision.
The helmet also comes with the famous Arai PED spoiler package and factory fitted HANS/FHR inserts. The shell's clear finish is ready either for custom painting or to highlight the visible carbon fiber structure.
Important to note: The GP-7 SRC ABP helmet is supplied without top ventilation (the holes are open). Each delivery includes a package with various ventilation ducts, so that the driver can adapt to his own needs and wishes.
