Buying guide for Karting suits - Help choosing your Go-karting suit

Go-kart suits are an important protective equipment that you should always use regardless of whether you compete in karting or rent a kart for fun.
If you train/compete in go-karts, you need an approved suit that is homologated by the CIK-FIA.
These kart overalls are tested by the FIA motorsport federation and are thus approved for all types of competition / training with Gokarts.
In our range, all models are approved apart from the Sparco Rookie suit. Sparco Rookie should only be used for rental-karting and the like.
All our other go-kart racing suits have the correct classification and can be used for all kinds of go-kart competitions and practice.
The safety classification is called CIK-FIA LEVEL 2 and they are approved for everything from club competitions to the WC in Karting.
There are different price ranges for the go-kart overalls, but they all have the same safety classification and homologation, the biggest differences you will find in weight, material and design.
The karting suits in the higher price ranges often have a lower weight of around 1000g, which is about 500g less than a cheaper go-kart suit. They also have slightly softer/more flexible fabric and slightly more stretch panels - they're just a bit more comfortable to wear.
Size:
On the product page for each suit you will find a size guide that you can use as a starting point. Often it is good to take a size out of the larger range for your weight, as a slightly larger overall gives you better mobility. This minimizes the risk of it tightening around the arms when you steer and it also makes it easier to get in and out of your go-kart.

All Sparco go-kart racing suits come with a stylish bag for storage/transport.
The overalls should be washed in cold water on the hand wash programme.
